The portable CNC cutting machine also needs to process the cutting program in advance and generate special G code. Only after the G code is imported into the controller can cutting be started.

(1) How to load CNC program to controller of CNC cutting machine?

1. (a)Make drawing of the shape you want to cut by the CNC cutting machine, using any drawing software’s like Auto CAD
2. (b)After making the drawing save the drawing as DXF / DWG file extensions
3. (c)Open the nesting software like Fast CAM, NestMaster, CNCCUT
4. (d)Import the DXF/DWG file to the Nesting software (Refer: Nesting software manual)
5. (e)Convert the DXF/DWG file to NC-Program using the nesting software (Refer: Nesting software manual)
6. (f)Copy the CNC-Program in the computer to the USB Drive(Disk)
7. (g)Take the USB Drive to the controller of CNC cutting machine and plug it into the controller

(2) How to load program from USB?

1. (a)Plug the USB drive that has the CNC-Program to the controller of CNC cutting machine
2. (b)Select EDIT [F3] from main menu
3. (c)Select USB [F6] from the sub menu
4. (d)Select LOAD [F1] from the menu to see the files in the USB
5. (e)Select the CNC-Program from the list of files in the USB by moving the UP/DOWN arrow on the controller key pad(File extension name will
6. be .TXT/.NC/.CNC)
7. (f)Press ENTER to confirm the selection
8. (g)The CNC-Program will be loaded to the Edit Screen

(3)How to save program to the controller of CNC cutting machine?

1. (a)Load the CNC-Program to the EDIT [F3]
2. (b)Select SAVE [F3] from the sub menu
3. (c)Need to enter the file name (Can use the alpha numeric key to enter file name)
4. (d)After entering file name press ENTER to confirm save (File extension name will be .NC)
5. (e)The CNC-Program will be save to the controller memory

(4)How to load the saved program in the controller of CNC cutting machine?

1. (a)Select EDIT [F3] from main menu
2. (b)Select LOAD [F2] from the sub menu
3. (c)Select the CNC-Program from the list of saved programs in the controller ( Press VIEW [F7] to view the shape)
4. (d)After selecting file name press ENTER to confirm.

(5)How to load shape from library?

1. (a)Select LIBRARY [F6] to view library
2. (b)In the LIBRARY there are 24 commonly used shapes to be selected
3. (c)In one page there will be 6 shapes use page up/page down to move to next page
4. (d)Use arrow key on the controller to move selection within a page.
5. (e)Press ENTER to confirm the selection you want
6. (f)Modify the shape dimensions to the required values for your job.
7. (g)Press APPLY [F6] once finished setting the dimension values
8. (h)Select ESC [ESC]
9. (i)Select AUTO [F1]
10. (j)Press GREEN button to start cutting.

(6)How to edit a CNC-Program?

1. (a)The CNC- Program can be edited only in the EDIT [F3]
2. (b)The entire new CNC-Program can be written in the EDIT [F3]
3. (c)The user can modify the CNC-program that is loaded from USB, the LIBRARY, and the saved programs in the controller of CNC cutting machine as well.
4. (d)In the EDIT [F3] you can use the alpha numeric keypad to write or edit NC program
5. (e)Press VIEW [F7] between modification to see the effect of your modification.
6. (f)Once finished the modification if you want you can save by pressing SAVE [F3]
7. (g)Also can start cutting by press ESC [ESC] to leave EDIT [F3]
8. (h)Go to AUTO [F1] for automatic mode
9. (i)Press VIEW [F4] to view the drawing you have loaded
10. (j)Press GREEN button to start cutting

(7)How to start cutting?

1. (a)Input the drawing you want to cut there are three ways to do this
2. 1. Using the CAD drawing, convert the drawing to CNC program using the Nesting software and upload to the CNC cutting controller using USB
   2. Using the library shapes and adjust the dimensions of the shapes to your desired size
   3. Using the saved CNC programs in the controller.
