Q: What’s the running speed of earch SteelTailor portable cutting machine? What effect the actual cutting speeds ? Is the cutting speed the faster the better?

A:Shteet metal cutting machine the dry running speed of 9 m/min, other models are 6 m/min. There are cutting speeds for different material ,different Thickness ,different currents form on the plasma sheet, clients set the cutting speed to refer to the plasma sheet. Under the premise of ensuring cutting quality, increasing cutting speed will increase productivity.

Q:The Language interface of SteelTailor portable CNC cutting machine can be English, Russian or English and Spanish at the same time exist? Can customers switch the language independently?

A:Currently the controller of SteelTailor portable CNC cutting machine is in Chinese with some combination of a foreign language, such as English, Chinese and Western, French, German or Russian.Customer should comfirm the controller interface of SteelTailor CNC cutting machine before shipment.We will set it for him at the factory.

Q) I have a SteelTailor Power series portable CNC cutting  machine which I got on 2007, Now I want to add the electric torch lift to the machine.
 
A) The SteelTailor Power series portable CNC cutting  machine is an old model machine, Now this machine is no longer in production and the controller used in this machine also has been stopped from production. For adding a lifter there is no such option in these old controllers. You can add an external switch to control the electrical lift. If required we can provide you the parts.

Q) My power CNC plate cutting machine recently has a issue, when cutting circles the shape is not cutting correctly


 
A) This problem is cause when the gap between the crossbeams rack and pinion is big.  You could adjust the crossbeam motor to adjust the gap between the rack and pinion.

Q, when uploading the program from USB the shape shown in the controller is changed. The shape is not what we have programmed in the nesting software.

A, The problem is caused by the AUTO CAD version.  Save DXF or DWG format in AutoCAD as the basic version. That is if you are using 2012 or above version of AUTO CAD save the file as 2000 DXF or 2000 DWG.

Q) I have smart III machine. When the machine is set to plasma mode, the THC still shows capacitive mode.

A) When you go and set the controllers to Plasma mode make sure you click SAVE. The THC will not change the cutting mode until you enter into the AUTO / MANUAL mode of the controller.

Q) We have old valiant machine and brand new dragon machine, the valiant has old ST THCEX 02 model THC.  We find the new dragon machine THC ST-THCEX 03 model more easy to use and better responding. Is it possible to buy a new THC and replace the old model?

A) Yes, it is possible to replace the old model THC with the new model ST-THCEX 03. The replacement is very simple just have to unplug the old THC and remove it from the cross beam fix the new THC in place of the old THC and plug back the cable to the new THC. No modification on the machine electrical or holders required.

Q,   When cutting a shape with many smaller parts, the first part is get cut correctly the second part onwards it’s not cutting correctly.
 
A,     The problem is caused by setting wrong Pierce time,” FIRST PIERCE TIME” is the price time setting for first pierce and “PIERCE TIME” second pierce onwards

Q,   Can we add Flame THC to the power series portable CNC cutting machine which is already at the end users place and do not have a THC.
 
A,     The flame THC we use capacitive sensor, This THC can also work as plasma THC also. For plasma we use ARC voltage sensor. 

Q,           We have an old machine bought in 2009, the machine is working correctly we need to add a plasma torch height sensor.
 
A,    Yes, we can send you the THC modification kit to add the plasma Torch Height Controls (THC).
